The Strait-Line Weight Distribution System part # RP66074 can still be used on your 2005 Chevy Tahoe even with a set of air bags/air shocks. If you have shocks then you don't really need to do any adjusting but if you have bags then you will want to set the pressure inside the air bags first, and then set the tension on the springs bars in order to take the rest of the sag out of the equation and also prevent any trailer sway. That said, the great thing about using airbags and a weight distribution system together is that you can adjust each to better suite your towing needs. For example, if you feel the ride is to rough you can let some air out of the airbags and then move up a chain link on the weight distribution system or stay the same.

Please note the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System does not come with a shank or a hitch ball. For a shank you will need to do some measuring (see article) and you can then choose one that matches the rise/drop you need which I have attached a list of options for you. The Reese Weight Dist Shank part # RP54970 should work if you don't have access to the trailer to measure. For a hitch ball, you can use part # 19286.
