Are Studs Required to Mount the Lippert Solera Slide-Topper

I have a 2014 dutchmen denali 316res 5th wheel that I want to install a slide topper over bedroom slide do you know if there are studs to mount the rail and if not how should the rail be mounted?

According to the instructions for the Lippert Slide-Toppers, like part # LCV000168106, the rail should be positioned along the line where the roof and the wall meet of at least a minimum of 3" above the upper edge of the slide room. If you can find some studs to secure the #8-18 x 1" screws into that would be great but it doesn't look like that's necessary especially since the whole kit only has a shipping weight of 28 lbs.
I have attached a link to the installation instructions as well as a sample installation we did on a 2018 Jayco that you can check out. Please note that the 8' Slide-Topper is 96" wide and will fit a box width range of 86" - 91-3/4" (including the flange).
