Can Outside of Demco Surge Actuator be Welded to Trailer Frame
Question:
Want to install your DM72VR actuator, but my frame is welded to outside of the 82543 atwood actuator. Can I weld to outside of actuator without damaging it

It's very common for trailer surge actuators like the # DM72VR to be welded to the frame of the trailer tongue. Welding it from the inside or the outside would be totally fine as long as it's done by a professional and the coupler has the needed room to move back and forth to activate the brakes.
