Should Steering Wheel of Towed Vehicle be Secured With Tie-Downs for Flat Towing

I have never towed a vehicle with a tow bar. Do I need to secure the Jeep steering wheel with a tie down?

You typically want to leave the steering wheel maneuverable so that the towed vehicle can track behind the vehicle doing the towing. The owner's manual for your Jeep will have a specific set of instructions that you can follow to prep your vehicle and make sure that nothing is damaged while flat towing.
