Will the Yakima RailBars Clear the Moon/Sun Roof On a 2018 Chevrolet Traverse High Country

Hello. I have a 2018 Traverse high country model with the factory aluminum roof side rails. Im wondering whether the Railbars attached to the factory Chevy roof side rails will have enough clearance underneath to allow the moonroof to open. Im planning to mount 1 forklift bike holder and something else not sure what to hold a paddle board.

The moon/sun roof on your 2018 Chevrolet Traverse High Country most likely will not be able to be opened while using the Yakima RailBar Crossbars part # Y00435-0436 or any other roof rack of it's kind for that matter. That said, this is not something that we nor Yakima tests for because the wind noise associated with having the roof open and a set of crossbars installed would be unbearable.
For a fork mount bike rack, I recommend the Yakima HighSpeed Roof Bike Rack part # Y02115 because you can then secure this and the crossbars to your roof using the Yakima Same Key System part # Y07206.
