Which SumoSprings Are Best for a 2016 Ford F-150 Towing a Small Trailer

Question:

1 tow a 14’ single axle travel trailer that weighs about 3200lbs. Thinking the tongue weight might be 300lbs. Trailer is a Palomini 142ck by forest river. My truck is a 2016 2wd Ford F-150. What capacity would perform the best without sacrificing a smooth ride without the trailer. Also will my static height be altered after installation? Thanks

The SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSR-116-40 which have a 1,000 lb weight capacity would offer plenty of support for your 2016 Ford F-150 towing a Palomino PaloMini 142 CK. These will not effect your unloaded ride quality unless you went over a pot hole or something else of that nature and even then it won't really degrade the ride quality.

In regards to height change, there will be none with the SumoSprings as they won't even be engaged until the threshold of your suspension is reached which is what allows them to not effect your unloaded ride quality.
