Will these step fit a 1998 ranger regular cab 2 wheel drive truck

As long as you have access to the rocker panel then yes, the Pilot Aluminum Universal Side Step Bar # AS-400 will fit. This is a universal application and we haven't fit it directly to a '98 Ranger before but if you look on the product page we had a customer who actually fit it to their lawn mower so it truly is a universal step.
