Tonneau Cover for 2014 Ram 1500 Long Bed with Drains to Keep Bed Dry

Question:

I have a 2014 RAM 1500 with an 8foot bed. I like the Tonno Pro Part Number TP42-204, but Im concerned about water and wind leaking from the middle of the rails because there are only 4 clamping points on this cover. Shouldnt there be six points of clamping on an 8foot bed to prevent such leaks?

Most tonneau covers do not keep out all moisture from rain and the design of the Tonno Pro Tonno Fold Soft Tonneau Cover # TP42-204 would be no exception. Most water would be kept out but the cover does not seal perfectly. More expensive tonneaus will have drain systems that helps direct the water away from the bed of the truck like the BAKFlip F1 Hard Tonneau Cover # BAK72204.
