Which is Better for Snow Plow Mount on Vehicle Front Hitch or Frame Brackets

the K2 plow manual recommends not to use a hitch, the 65069 is a hitch, the 31432 is in line. but has less vertical load capacity 2016 wrangler unlimited stock bumper

I would recommend going with a snow plow for your 2016 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited that uses frame brackets to attach to the vehicle instead of a front hitch. The brackets are a bit more secure and less likely to fail than a hitch. I say that because we've tested a couple of the hitch mounted options and they ripped the front hitch off of a Highlander twice...
So the Detail K2 Rampage II part # K2SUMM8826 that you referenced is a really great option that all you'd need to install on your Wrangler is the correct bracket kit part # K284219 which is custom fit for your Wrangler.
