Recommended Engine Oil and Transmission Cooler for a 2010 GMC Yukon Denali AWD
Question:
I am looking at purchasing a combination transmission/oil cooler for my 2010 GMC Yukon Denali AWD. My vehicle has the 6.2L engine with AWD transmission. I have narrowed my search down to the Derale 15902 and Derale 15903. Which would you recommend as the easiest install in my vehicle?

The Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902 would be the best option for your 2010 GMC Yukon Denali AWD because the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler for GM Applications part # D15903 does not come with the correct oil filter thread adapter you need which is a 22 mm x 1.5 mm. The Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler part # D15902 does come with the 22 mm x 1.5 mm oil filter thread adapter you need. The only other thing you will need is an adapter for the transmission fitting, the Derale Snap-In Radiator Adapter Fitting for GM part # D13035.
The install process for the correct kit is pretty straightforward as far as the engine oil side goes. For the transmission fluid side I have attached a few install videos for you which should guide you the rest of the way.
