What Would Happen if you Wired Air Command Compressor System # F2610 Without Ignition Switch Wire
Question:
With the yellow wire not being used and the black and red leads being attached directly to the battery, how does it know when the truck is running or would the ECU notice a pressure and pump up the bags while the truck isn’t running? Which could drain the battery.

Expert Reply:
If you do not use the ignition wire of the Air Command Compressor System # F2610 and wire it so that it is active all the time it would run with the truck off if the air pressure in the bags fell below the user preset setting. Best option is to use the ignition switch to activate it so that you don't have to worry about that.
