Can Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack Mount to Square Crossbars

will a thule upride bike rack fit on the thule square bar? or will I have to update to a aero bar with the t-slot?

The Thule UpRide Roof Bike Rack # TH599000 will work perfectly on your existing Thule Square Crossbars. This rack includes mounting hardware that will clamp around square, round, or aero-style crossbars without having to use an integrated T-slot. I have attached an image of this carrier mounted to square crossbars that you can also check out.

Because this rack also includes T-track hardware, if you were to ever upgrade to aero-style bars that include this channel in the future you could utilize them to mount the carrier as well.
