Which Atwood AC Unit for 1970s Avion LeGrand Camper
Question:
Is there a way to compare the different Atwood Air conditioners? Or maybe a comparison chart somewhere? I have an early 70s Avion LeGrand that seriously needs an air conditioner and these look promising. I just want to make sure I get the right one. Im not a big stickler on color and I think black would look just as decent as the white ones.

For the Atwood AC applications it comes down to how big of an area you need to cool and whether or not the ceiling has ducts already ran for AC which it sounds like yours doesn't.
There are two different BTU outputs; there is the 13,500 BTU for smaller to medium sized campers and the larger 15,000 BTU for medium to larger applications. Your Avion LeGrand is a larger camper so you'd want the larger 15 BTU setup for non-ducted applications part # AT15028-22. This also comes with the needed roof vent and heat pump which can help keep the camper warm if the weather gets colder as well.
