is the wire for the 3 break lighting the same area and color for topper shell for 2012 silverado as your pic, of 2006 thank you

The wire for the camper shell on your 2012 Chevy Silverado will be different than the 2006 model. Instead, yours will be orange and labeled CHMSL; this will be in a bundle of wires under the left side of the instrument panel to the left of the steering column.
