Recommended Trailer Connector To Use Curt Echo On a 2012 Chevy Silverado

I need a trailer connector as my truck did not come with one so I can use the Echo.

In order to install a 7-way on a 2012 Chevy Silverado you can use the Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector for Chevy and GMC Vehicles part # PK11916 if you have a US CAR Connector (see photo) or the Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness part # PK11898 if not. These will both then allow you to use the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180.
