Can RockyMounts DriveShaft Bed Bike Rack Be Mounted Upside Down
Question:
2019 Toyota Tacoma trd sport 5ft bed with Bakflip Mx4 cover I am unable to open shaft all the way and even if I slide 12mm axel through forks still cannot reach Please advise Can it be mounted upside down?

I reached out to my contact at RockyMounts and he said that the DriveShaft Track Truck Bed Bike Rack # RKY1086 can be mounted upside down if needed. The unit itself will hold up just fine when used in this orientation but it is going to make securing your bike a bit more difficult since you will really have to lift up the front to mount it into place.
With the top rails from the BAKFlip Tonneau Cover on your truck this will be your best option to avoid interference with the DriveShaft Bike Rack.
