Installation Instructions for AirLift 1000 Air Helper Springs AL60815
Question:
Hello, Under your QandA for the rear suspension air lift kit, there was a question regarding the 2011 Honda Odyssey control arm flange bolt tightening spec. Your answer indicated that the bolt tightening spec was 33 ft-lbs. In the attached TSB document, you can see that the proper bolt spec is 69 ft-lbs. Unless we are talking about different bolts I assume it is the outer bolt attached to the upright as that is the one that is removed to the spring, this is quite a different value. Can you please check/verify? If it is indeed 69 ft-lbs, Im concerned folks might be out there with unsecure uprights and you may wish to update your QandA section. Have a great day!

I checked with AirLift and the installation instructions for their rear axle kit # AL60815 do specify 33-ft-lbs for the control arm flange bolt (page 5). I accessed these instructions online at their website so they are definitely the current ones. If you attached a link to a technical service bulletin from Honda it did not come through. The Air Lift instructions are linked for your reference.
