What Is the Diameter of the Shank Shelf of the B&W Hitch Ball HB94009
Question:
I just bought a truck that has an opening that is 2 1/8” and 3” deep. I understand the shank is 2”, but is the flange above it and below the neck of the ball at least 2 1/8”?

The B&W 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # BWHB94009 has that lip you referenced measuring 2.294 inches with a digital caliper. The shank is 2 inches as you stated so this hitch ball will work well for your application with that shelf being between 2-1/4 inches and 2-5/16 inches.
