Troubleshooting Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Showing N.C. But Still Working Fine

My brake controller says N.C. But brake controller still works with my rev trailer, should I worried?

The N.C. on the display of your Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller # 90885 essentially means that it's not detecting a connected trailer.
If the controller is still working perfectly to power the trailer's brakes then most likely you just have some built-up debris or corrosion inside the pins of 7-Way on your tow vehicle or trailer that's preventing the unit from sensing a consistent power draw on the blue wire. I recommend inspecting both connectors and cleaning them out as needed with some white vinegar or PB Blaster. Once cleaned I strongly recommend using # 11755 to protect the contact pins from future corrosion build-up. I have attached a great article on this very subject that you can check out as well.
