Will MaxxTow Truck Bed Ladder Rack Work with Toolbox on a 2019 Chevy Colorado

Question:

Was wondering if this will work with a toolbox sitting on top of truck wall. Will longer bolts allow this? Also I love your reviews and videos. Only thing I wish is that you guys showed videos/pictures of installs with a tool box.

I'm sure you could find a way to mount a toolbox on the MaxxTow Truck Bed Ladder Rack MT70423 for your 2019 Chevrolet Colorado but this rack isn't designed for that.

For a ladder rack that does have a toolbox mounting option you'd instead need the Thule TracRac TracONE which comes in Silver # TH27000XT and Matte Black # TH27000XTB. Then all you need is the Toolbox Mount Kit # TH41000 and you can mount your crossover toolbox! The biggest advantage of using the Thule system over the MaxxTow system is that the Thule has an 800 lb weight capacity over the 400 lb weight capacity of the MaxxTow.
