Maximum Tire Width That Inno Multi Fork Lock Roof Bike Rack # INA392 can Fit

Question:

This specs of this rack show max tire width of 2-11/16, which appears to be the widest I have seen for a roof rack. My bike has Fat Plus Mtn. Bike tires that are 2.8. This would convert to 2-13/16. Will this rack NOT work? And, if that is the case, do you recommend a roof rack that accomodates a thru fork and this wide a tire?

The max tire width the Inno Multi Fork Lock Roof Bike Rack # INA392 can fit is 2-11/16 inch or in decimal form 2.69 inches. That's really close to your dimension of 2.8 inches so worst case scenario you might have to deflate your bike tire a bit to get it to fit into the rear wheel tray.
