Westin Grille Guard Mounting Kit For 1997 Chevy C/K Series
Question:
What brackets do I need on a 97 Chevy truck 2500 to mount a Westin grill guard

Expert Reply:
The Replacement Mounting Kit for Westin Sportsman Grille Guard part # 40-008PK does fit the 1997 Chevy 2500 to install the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard part # 40-0085 or part # 45-0080.
Grille Guards are not universal by themselves, both the guard and mounting kits are vehicle specific. These are the only two Westin grille guards available for your vehicle at this time, so if you have the 40-0085 or 45-0080 Grille Guard the mounting kit part # 40-008PK will work perfectly for you.
If you are not sure which grille guard you have please send me a photo and we can try to identify which guard you have with the help of Westin.
