The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # 36262 is confirmed to fit all models of the 1999 Volvo V70. In the linked instructions it doesn't call out anything specific for your XC model so I wouldn't know off-hand, but Draw-Tite is typically really good with pointing out any differences that need to be noted for installing the same trailer hitch on different models.
