How to Reduce Chucking When Towing 2019 Keystone Fusion with Lippert 1116 Pin Box

Hello, I have a 2019 Keystone Fusion with a LCI 6421481 pin box. Its the 1116 bolt pattern. My tow vehicle is a 2019 GMC 3500 HD 8ft bed. We have quite a bit of chucking when I tow the 5th wheel, and I tow it a lot around 1000 miles a month. I wanted to get your advice on the best pin box to dramatically reduce chucking. I really like the LCI flex air but it doesnt fit my trailer. So what would be the next best one or manufacturer that you sell? Thank you in advance

For the Lippert 1116 pin box replacement the best cushioned option is the Trailair part # LC155943. This system uses an air bag and shock to cushion and dampen the movement of the pin box which will do a great job smoothing out your ride quality.

Another really big factor with fifth wheel chucking is the fifth wheel hitch jaw system. If you have a hitch that allows a lot of movement in the hitch jaws then that's where most of the chucking is coming from. You'd want a hitch that has a tighter jaw design like the Reese part # RP30928 which uses a single jaw that wraps around the king pin and holds it tightly.
