Can Vehicle Mufflers Have Exhaust Flow In Either Direction
Question:
I have a muffler which indicates one of the pipes on the muffler as the inlet. Can I use it as an exhaust out of the muffler too.

If the muffler is labeled with an inlet and outlet side then you would not want to reverse it. You need to make sure you direct the exhaust through it in the correct direction.
The Magnaflow part # MF12867 you referenced can flow in either direction and has a 3 inch inlet/outlet and is 20 inches long.
