How To Create a Disconnect Port for the Jensen 12 Volt TV Inside a Trailer

Can l connect Jensen 12 v 32in. TV with Hopkins 12v socket kit with wire and fuse # HM55125 and power adapter cord for Jensen TV # dcc1 g09 to my battery which is a extras battery located in my storage Compartment in my trailer. Can l connect positive wire # HM55125 with fuse to the Battery positive pole and ground wire to the negative pole ? or connect ground wire directly to trailer. My new trailer does not have 12v outlet only 110 and we do only dry camping .

Yes, you can install the Hopkins 12-Volt Socket with Utility Light with Power Wire and Fuse Assembly part # HM55125 in your trailer by attaching the red wire to the positive terminal on your battery and then the white wire to the negative terminal on your battery but I would just go to a bare metal spot on the frame as this will be easier. Once this is installed you could then use the Jensen RV TV part # JTV32DC by obtaining the Power Adapter Cord for Jensen LED Televisions part # DCCIG09.
