15 x 5 Trailer Wheel and ST205/75R15 Tire with Same Weight Ratings

Question:

Hi, Ive looked through everything you have for rims and mounted tires and I cannot find any combination that is 15inch 5 on 4 1/2 aluminum along with radial tires where both are C rated. I can find C tires but D rims or vice versa. Do you have that sort of combination that I can order or will I need to buy rims and tires separate and find someone that can mount them for me? Many thanks.

It sounds like you may want to order separate wheel and tire parts rather than a pre-mounted part like Contender # AC15R45BMMFL. This 15 x 5-inch wheel # AX02550545BMMFL can use separate radial tire # LHWL300 which has the same 2150-lb weight rating and an L speed rating meaning it is good to 75-mph. For a radial tire with the 2150-lb weight rating and a higher speed rating of 81-mph you can use Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range D, Item # TR20515D.

Our wheel and tire combination items will not always have the exact same weight ratings and this is perfectly okay. The wheel in this item # AC15R45BMMFL is indeed rated for more weight than the tire, 2150-lbs for the wheel and 1820-lbs for the tire. This gives the combination a weight capacity of 1820-lbs, the lower of the two component ratings, and it is fine to use this item up to that 1820-lb limit.
