Where Should Spring Bar Brackets of Fastway Weight Distribution System Install on Trailer Frame
Question:
I have an equalizer hitch and I’m new to towing.I’m trying to get it leveled out and I think I got to where it needs to be but the Spring bar is really hard to get on. Once I got it on it seem like it was bowing a little. Is this all right or do I need to move my L bracket down

I attached a picture that shows where you need to install the spring bar hanger brackets of the Fastway Weight Distribution System part # FA94-00-0800 that you referenced. You'll need to have them installed in that range which is 24 to 27 inches back from the ball center of the coupler.
Aside from that it's pretty standard for spring bars to be difficult to install as they have quite a bit of tension in them to work properly. To make it easier you can connect the trailer to your hitch ball and then use the trailer jack to raise the rear of the truck up a bit. This will allow the spring bars to slip on to the hangers pretty easily.
