Best Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Hitch Adapter for Truck that Has B and W Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 F250 diesel super crew with air bags front and back. I have a BandW goose neck flip over set up on the truck. Originally set up to haul cattle. In your article you said the ride quality and handling was not as good with a goose neck conversion. How is it different to a 5th wheel. Thanks

I wouldn't say that gooseneck to fifth wheel hitch adapters like the # CAB-C5G necessarily have a worse ride quality than if a fifth wheel hitch was used but there are advantages to just using a fifth wheel hitch when available like your scenario where we have a fifth wheel hitch that fits directly to your B and W rail kit.
The adapters typically void the warranty of the trailer frame as they put additional stress on the pin box and if the truck was a short bed there wouldn't be a way to get additional turning clearance.
So you are in a unique and great position for needing a fifth wheel adapter as the B and W gooseneck hitches have fifth wheel hitches made to fit them directly and they are widely considered to be the best hitch options around; the Companion fifth wheel hitches.
So if you have a short bed truck you'll need the slider Companion part # BWRVK3400 as this can slide back to give you additional turning clearance when needed whereas if you have a long bed you'd be able to get by with the fixed Companion part # BWRVK3500. I attached review videos for both hitches for you to check out as well.
