Recommended Replacement Components for SMI Air Force One on 2019 Ford Ranger

Question:

connecting two 1/4 inch air hose together I have a SMI Air Force One system for my diesel motorhome its about 14 year old. I have a 2019 Ford Ranger and transferring the vehicle equipment to this truck. My problem is that the brake air hoses are not long enough coming from the canister to go into the inside to brake pedal and to front of vehicle for air hookup.. Is there a connector to splice these hoses together to make them longer and can the slip hose fitting be reused.

Helpful Expert Reply:

You can use the 1/4" Air Line Hose - SMI Air Force One or Stay-In-Play Duo Supplemental Braking System # DM16114 sold in 1 foot increments, so if you need 6 feet of new hose you can simply select quantity 6 on that product page and you will receive one 6 foot section of hose.

The compression fittings like the Replacement Female Push-On Hose Connector for SMI Air Force One Supplemental Braking System # SM99726, the Replacement 1/4" Female Pushlock Fitting for SMI Supplemental Braking Systems - Qty 1 # SM99611, and the Replacement Check Valve for SMI Supplemental Braking Systems # SM99909 should be replaced.
