Will the Timbren SES TDR1500DQ Fit a 2019 Ram 1500 with Factory Air Suspension
Question:
I saw you say that the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR1500DQ is a confirmed fit for the rear of your 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab. Candice also be installed on a 2019 limited with the air suspension system? Will there be a conflict with air suspension or can this also work. Also would it even be needed or does the air suspension system provide this type of sag prevention

Expert Reply:
I do have an option for you but the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TDR1500DQ will not fit a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited with the factory air suspension. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer any suspension enhancements for a Ram with factory air suspension. Therefore, the best option we have for you if you need additional support would be with a weight distribution system.
In fact, even if you do not need a weight distribution system to reduce sag I would still recommend one because of their ability to help fight trailer sway. In regards to whether or not additional aid is needed to help combat sag, this really won't be able to be found out until you couple the trailer to the tow vehicle to see how much of the weight the factory air suspension can support. That said, I would still go with a weight distribution system even if you don't need it for sag because the sway control prevention.
The best weight distribution system on the market is arguably the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System because it has four points of contact for sway control. The most likely system for you is part # EQ37100ET which is for a total tongue weight of 600 lbs - 1,000 lbs.
