Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch for 2019 Nissan Titan XD Short Bed with OEM Integrated Gooseneck

5th wheel hitch for a 2019 nissan xd shortbox truck We would like to know what we need... We just purchased a 2002 keystone 5th wheel with a trailair connector..we are new to 5th wheels and need help. What kind of hitch do we need for a shortbox truck? My husband was thinking gooseneck? Please help

Your 2002 Keystone 5th wheel with Trailair pin box is a nice feature. We currently only have a few confirmed fit options for your 2019 Nissan Titan XD with OEM Integrated Gooseneck. My recommendation is the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Nissan Titan XD OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21,000 lbs # DM6200 to give you the rails and then use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide hitch. This hitch is available in two sizes; the 18,000 lb # DM8550034 and the 21,000 lb # DM8550035. This automatic sliding hitch will adjust as you drive to give you the turning clearances you need for your short bed truck and your 5th wheel trailer, so you don't need to jump in and out of your truck to manually adjust a slider between two locking points.
There are two Trailair pin boxes that require a separate capture or locking plate for the Demco hitch. If you have the Trailair Rota-Flex then you will use # DM6171 for compatibility. If you have the Trailair Tri-Glide then you will need locking plate # DM6095. Any other Trailair pin box doesn't require anything that doesn't come with the hitch.
