Towing a Gooseneck Trailer with 2011 Ford F-250 with 5th Wheel Rails
Question:
Hi! My husband has a 2011 Ford F-250 crew cab short bed. It came with 5th wheel rails already installed. Can you recommend a gooseneck adapter that will fit? I don’t need to spend more than necessary to safely pull my horses. And I saw there are centered and offset options-does it matter which we choose? Thanks in advance and P.S., we LOVE the bike rack and trailer frame adaptor we bought from you guys about a year ago!! :. It’s been as awesome setup!

When you say the truck has fifth wheel rails installed do you mean it has aftermarket above-bed industry standard rails like in the picture I attached? Or is it a factory puck system like in the second picture? If you're not sure send me a picture so I can see what it looks like.
If you have industry standard rails, like in the first picture, then you can use a fifth wheel to gooseneck adapter like part # 16055. This particular adapter gives you 3 inches of offset which helps with turning clearance in short bed trucks like your 2011 Ford F-250.
If you actually have the factory prep kit from the second picture you don't need an adapter. Instead use part # C60692 for a gooseneck ball that fits into the truck.
Finally, thanks for coming back. There's nothing better than hearing back from happy customers.
