The Valterra Mini Rope Light for RV Awning Utility Slot - LED - 16' Long - White - Qty 1 # A30-0625VP is the correct fit for a 16 foot awning. It has a power lead that is an additional 9 foot long and plugs in to 120V power. This installs directly into the awning rail.
If you want to us a more standard rope light you can use the Valterra Rope Light Trak Dual Utility Track for RV Awnings - 18' # A30-0600 which can be cut to length and ill accommodate 3/8 inch rope lights in one rail and 1/2 inch rope lights in the other. This comes in 3 foot sections.
