Can Existing Holes from Old Vent Assembly be Used for Hardware to Install Fan-Tastic Roof Vent
Question:
Im thinking of replacing a roof-mounted vent cover assembly with a fan-powered assembly such as the # FV801200, The existing cover assembly, including the galvanized vent frame, is anchored to the roof with screws. Would it be practical to mount the new fan-powered assembly by using the existing screw holes in the roof?

As long as the holes where the existing screws are at are in good shape and they aren't too big for the recommended #8 screws that come in the installation kit # 344270KITW there should be no problem in using the same holes to install the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV801208.
