Does Pro Series 16k Hitch Require Use of Wedge When Connecting to Trailer with Reese Revolution

Question:

we have a reese pro series 16kmanual slider hitch in our 2015 f250 diesel with 6.5 box .,we are purchasing a 2019 29ft 150 series Reflectio fifth wheel trailer can they just use the wedge thats on the pin box or do we need a specail one....or do we need to use the wedge at all?

You will need a wedge when connecting your 2019 150 Series Reflection fifth wheel to your Pro Series 16k Slider hitch. For that you'd want the part # 30850. This allows the hitch to fit tightly to the Sidewinder/Reese Revolution pin box so that it can work like it needs to. Since you have a slider hitch you will need to keep it in the forward most position at all times. The great thing about the Sidewinder/Revolution pin boxes is that they provide the clearance needed that a slider normally provides so you'd not ever need to slide the hitch back.
