Yes, you can use the Yakima Backswing Extender Swing Out Adapter part # Y02483 that you referenced with the Swagman XC Recumbent # S64650-EXT. This will allow you to swing the bike rack out and away from the rear of the vehicle to give you access to the rear cargo area. I attached a review video for the rack and adapter for more info on this as well.
