Troubleshooting Rear Stabilizer Jack Not Getting Power
Question:
My rear jack seemingly is not getting power. Per some previous advice that I saw, I tried manually cranking it and then trying the switch again. The power comes back for about 1 second, then goes off again. Any recommendations? Thanks.

If power is not actually making it to the rear jack on your trailer's leveling system, then I recommend inspecting the wiring along with making sure the battery you're using is fully charged.
Visually inspect the wiring to make sure there aren't any exposed, pinched, or damaged areas that need to be replaced. Also make sure your ground is securely attached to a clean bare metal surface without any corrosion or debris. Since you do sometimes get power back to the jack momentarily a bad/weak ground connection very well may be the culprit.
If everything looks good, I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 along the wire leading up to the jack to see if you can locate exactly where power is stopping.
If you still aren't able to resolve the issue please let me know and we can continue to troubleshoot.
