Can Kaufman Mini Hauler be Converted to Electric Over Hydraulic Brakes
Question:
I have a 2018 mini-5 car hauler from Kaufman and would like to know exactly what parts i would need. the trailer currently has an all electric brake system. Please advise.

I attached a help article that covers everything needed to convert to electric over hydraulic disc brakes.
Basically you will need an actuator like the part # HBA16, a brake controller that is compatible with these brakes like part # 90885 and a brake setup compatible with your trailer axles. All of this is covered in the help article. To start we will need to know what axle capacity you have. I can determine that with the bearing numbers from your hubs or the spindle dimensions where the bearings ride.
