The Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12" to 16" Tall - 20,000 lbs # CAB-C5G is not compatible with the Morryde pin boxes that have air or rubber suspension. There is simply too much movement for the adapter.
The better option for that application is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550045. This will fit directly over your gooseneck ball and will give you an adjustable height hitch with 3 height settings that can be used with your Morryde pin box with the exception of the orbital rotating pin box. This will also give you a 3 inch offset for improved turning clearance. I've attached a video and photo to assist.
