How To Wire a Semi to Tow an RV

Hook up brite light as per instructions Still no brake lights. Other lights are fine

The brake and turn signal circuits are combined in standard trailer wiring applications therefore, I think there might be an issue with how the tow vehicle is wired. If the tow vehicle uses separate brake and turn signal circuits then you will need to combine them with the Roadmaster Brite-Lite Wiring Converter part # RM-732 which can then be wired to the 7-Pole and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Sockets w/ Mounting Bracket part # HM40975-11998. If you can't access the stop light circuit on your tow vehicle then you will also need the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit part # RM-751000.

If you can provide more instructions on what wiring harness you are using and how you have it installed, I may have more advice for you but it does sound like you have separate lighting circuits on your tow vehicle therefore you will need to combine them with the above in order to proceed.
