Adapter for 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 to Tow Both Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Trailers

Question:

Does this work with the factory GM gooseneck? I know that’s what the pucks are for but I’m getting a flatbed put on that utilizes the oem gooseneck but the pucks have to be removed. I want to tow both fifth wheel and goosenecks.

We do have a solution that will allow you to tow both gooseneck trailers and fifth wheel trailers with your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500, but the Curt X5 5th-Wheel Base Rail Adapter # C16220 will only work with Curt EZr Double-Lock gooseneck hitches.

To tow both gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers with the OEM gooseneck on your Silverado I strongly recommend the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # DM8550045. This will simply attach to your 2-5/16" gooseneck hitch ball to give you a fifth wheel hitch with a 21,000 lb capacity.

The Recon has a single-piece jaw for optimal connection with your king pin to give you a comfortable towing experience and it has cushioned dampeners to minimize any type of road shock. It is a two-piece hitch that is light which makes it easy to take on and off your truck.
