How to Determine Correct Size Bearing Buddy for Trailer Hub
Question:
I have a two axle livestock trailer. I want to put buddy bearings on it. It is an 40 year old trailer that when I bought it had no dust caps on it. Ive tried l.98 buddy bearing but it would not fit. Here is the outer bearing info. Bower bearing number 09074. Could you tell the correct size?

There is a way to measure your hub's outer bore to determine if there is a Bearing Buddy bearing protector to fit. Use a precision digital caliper to measure the hub's outer bore. The you can use the linked page that displays all Bearing Buddy parts to select a matching size if one is available.
We don't have a way to look up what you'd need based on the bearing number you listed.
