Which Weight Distribution System for 2020 Jayco 17RK
Question:
Will this WDH work with the 2020 Jayco 17RK?
asked by: Douglas B
Expert Reply:
Weight distribution hitches for your 2020 Jayco 17RK are not trailer specific, so it would be just a matter of picking out the correct weight rating for your trailer, and yes you can use the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control # EQ37060ET.
Your Jayco trailer's GVWR is right at 3,950 lbs so that would mean the tongue weight is most likely going to be between 450 lbs and 500 lbs. The # EQ37060ET is for 400 lb to 600 lb tongue weight so it will work for you.
The only other thing you will need is the hitch ball, the 2" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100; installing these will be made much simpler with the Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216.
