Will the Yakima HoldUp Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Fit a 2011 Kia Soul
Question:
I currently have the yakima hold up 2 with a 2inch hitch. I am changing to a Kia Soul which will only have the 1 1/4. Can I use the yakima 1 1/4 inch spine replacement for my Kia Soul. I think the Soul only will have a class 1 hitch. thank you.

Even if you added the Yakima Replacement Spine Assembly, # Y80126, to your Yakima HoldUp bike rack, # Y02433, you will not be able to use it with a Kia Soul. The reason is because the 2011 Kia Soul can only be equipped with a Class I trailer hitch and the HoldUp for 1-1/4 inch hitches will only fit a Class II trailer hitch.
What you will need for the Soul is a different platform bike rack. The most popular option is the Swagman XTC-2, # S64670. This bike rack holds the bikes at the wheels and frame and it is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch.
