On the Buffalo Tools Electric Car Jack # BTEJ212 the notch in the pad that mates with the vehicle's pinch weld has a depth of 3/8-inch. The notches are in a "+" pattern and the lengths of the notches are 1-3/8-inches x 1-7/8-inches. I took these measurements of the part myself and they are noted on the photo I prepared for you.
