What Head Position Should be Used with B and W Companion Hitch in Long Bed Truck

Question:

I have a 2011 Silverado 3500 Duramax long bed . I’ve recently installed a B and W companion model RVB3500 on it . I would like to know the ideal position that the king pin needs to be in over the axle .

The head of your B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3500 is adjustable front to back which allows a few different options. The best location is the forward-most position you can use that allows you enough clearance to make tight turns. Since you have a long bed truck I'd recommend using the most forward position available as you should have plenty of clearance.
