Rhino-Rack roof racks and cargo baskets offer excellent quality at great prices and for your 2017 Jeep Renegade we have roof rack options for Renegades with a bare roof and models with a roof that has raised front-to-back side rails. Please refer to the linked page.
If you have raised rails I recommend the Vortex SX system; this sleek black rack consists of parts # RRVA126B-2 and # RRSX100 and you can see installation on 2017 Renegade in the linked video. If you have a bare roof you can use the similar Vortex system made of parts # RRVA137B-2, # RRRLKVA and # DK478.
The Rhino-Rack # RMCB02 cargo basket is a perfect match and it even includes a noise-reducing wind fairing.
You might consider an accessory item or two to make using the basket easier. Lightweight folding step # TE97FR comes fully assembled and pops open to instantly give you about a foot of extra reach for loading and unloading. I own this item and it is useful all around the house. You may also want to consider a cargo net like # C18201, a waterproof bag like # RRLB350 or bungee cords like # EM06623, depending on the nature of your cargo.
