How to Determine Which Wire Carries Constant Power for GPS Installation
Question:
I have a harness with a brown and yellow connected together a dark green and light green together and a white which is constant power for my GPS please

I wish I could tell you right off-hand which wire has constant power so you can connect your GPS to it but the best way for you to determine which wire carries that function is to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 or a multimeter like part # PTW1714 which can show you which wire has continuous power. Even though there are standard wire colors out there sometimes those colors aren't used so it is best to test.
