Parts Needed to Flat Tow a 2012 Ford Fiesta

Does this baseplate also fit a 2012 Fiesta, and will it fit my Falcon 5280 tow bar?

The Roadmaster EZ2 base plates, # 524425-1, are listed as a fit for all models of the 2012 Ford Fiesta and they are compatible with the Roadmaster Falcon series of tow bars.

In addition to the base plates and the tow bar, you will also need safety cables, # RM-643, a lighting solution, and supplemental braking. For lighting, the easiest solution that also does NOT require tapping into the vehicle wiring is to use the RoadMaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs, # RM-155.

Most states now require a supplemental braking system on the vehicle being towed. The easiest system to set up and use is a portable system like # RM-9400. This portable system is also proportional; it applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the towing vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
